From Alice Springs, you have plenty of options. Here are some of them:

  • Take the Stuart Highway up to Darwin, 1500 kilometers north. Don’t forget to check the Devils Marbles and halt in Tennant Creek
  • Drive south down to Adelaide, or in destination to the spiritual Australian symbol: Uluru. After walking all around the Ayers Rock, Kings Canyon and Kata Tjuta are must to do.
  • As a day trip, drive west in direction of the MacDonnell National Park where few spots may be source of interest for you: Ellery Creek and Standley Chasm for example
